Father, open the doors that accord with Your will, close those that would lead me away from You, and give me grace to trust You with both. I release my plans, fears, expectations, and need to control the outcome into Your faithful hands.
When I cannot see the way forward, turn my eyes from the size of the problem to the greatness of Your character. Teach me to seek Your presence before demanding answers and to believe that You are working even when nothing around me appears to change.
Lord Jesus, I come to You weary from striving. Quiet my anxious thoughts, loosen my grip on the people and circumstances I cannot fix, and help me rest in Your care. Give me faith to say, “Even if the answer is delayed or different from what I desire, You are still good, You are still God, and I will still trust You.”
Open first the doors within me—the door to humility, obedience, peace, forgiveness, courage, and deeper love. Then lead me through every outward door You appoint, keeping me from forcing what You have not opened or fearing what You have prepared.
May every open door draw me closer to Christ, strengthen my faith, serve others, and bring glory to Your name. I place my future, my loved ones, my work, my ministry, and every unanswered question into Your hands.
