We experience life one second at a time.  Never knowing about the next.  Not even thinking about what happens if the next does not come.

Looking back,  wish I could have been more in the second, less focused on distractions.

Holidays are a strange now.  We find ourselves on the outside looking in, wondering what would Joshua’s kids have been like,  what would he be doing, where would he be.

God designed a healthy dose of wanting to live and be productive.  I depend on that to make it through each day,  finding enjoyment in what He fills my life with.

Thank you Jesus.

My wife and I first dated November 7 1975, both in high school…44 years ago…wow..that happened fast Sometime back I started measuring wisdom instead of age…I am 18 now with 43 years experience July 1969, wanted to be Neil Armstrong My parents and my scoutmaster leaned hard on me until I completed becoming an Eagle Scout at 13..never regretted doing that Went to work at Gulf States Utilities in 1977 as a co-op intern Full time upon graduation in 81 Discovered what telecom was by rebuilding 55 hops of analog microwave paths Learned about broadband high speed relaying on 500 kv systems that used 500 KHz of analog signaling to achieve 4 millisecond-clearing time upon fault detection Designed a regional two way radio trunking system Redesigned a 5 parish nuclear emergency alerting system, and inadvertently activated all 92 one afternoon….a difficult after action report with the senior vp… Designed a containment distributed radio system in a nuclear plant Started rebuilding the early 1980s. analog microwave system to digital As a consultant redesigned a transcontinental pipeline microwave system from 2 GHZ to 6 GHz digital Numerous scada systems… 22 years a consultant.  What a career, what experiences….I am blessed to do what I enjoy technically.

Now 5 years into working for the co-ops I know well.

April 4 1984,  Joshua Blake Hargrove (joshuahargrove.org ) was born and my life changed forever.  He became the center of our life.  He was a joy.  June 22 2002 at 1250am a car accident took him at 18 years 2 months and 13 days of life.  This forever changed our lives.  I did not do well for several years.  I managed,  but was a zombie like person,  I stumbled through each day, burying myself in work, church, and youth ministry.  Leisa and I are now ordained ministers under World Ministry fellowship of Plano TX.  We operate a house church based Bible study that is a continuation of the Bible Study Joshua started in our home in the early spring of 2002.

Next year the Bible study will surpass in longevity longer than Joshua lived on this world.  I think about these things.  I am glad that Jesus is my savior and He has brought me this far,  He received Joshua at the moment of death at 1250 am and is my hope for the future.

• and that is accepted, because we do nothing to stop it or protect the unbord

Climate change, global warming, is reported as fact and a known historical fact when it is not established by any scientific method or measurements.  We are expected to stop living our lives and do something in response to this because some people decided to believe Al Gore.

Things Haven’t Always Been This Way

Prior to the 1960s, many public high schools had shooting clubs. In New York City, shooting clubs were started at Boys, Curtis, Commercial, Manual Training and Stuyvesant high schools.

Students carried their rifles to school on the subway and turned them over to their homeroom or gym teacher. Rifles were retrieved after school for target practice. In some rural areas across the nation, there was a long tradition of high school students hunting before classes and storing their rifles in the trunks of their cars, parked on school grounds, during the school day.  Today, any school principal permitting rifles clubs or allowing rifles on school grounds would be fired, possibly imprisoned. Here’s my question: Have .30-30 caliber Winchesters and .22 caliber rifles changed to become more violent? If indeed rifles have become more violent, what can be done to pacify them? Will rifle psychiatric counseling help to stop these weapons from committing gun violence? You say: “Williams, that’s lunacy! Guns are inanimate objects and as such cannot act.” You’re right. Only people can act. That means that we ought to abandon the phrase “gun violence” because guns cannot act and hence cannot be violent.”

Truth and reality seems to be concepts which are no longer held as something we can know

Politicians pronounce that people can murder their newborn children and call it women’s health and a choice,

Tresspass is now called undocumented entry,  illegal immigration is called undocumented immigration

Politicians promise free stuff that is paid for by the evil rich,  the deadly sins of envy and greed are used to stir up votes and bribe the followers to vote for them.  This used to be called a bad thing to be avoided and also in most cases stealing

Anyone can decide to ignore their biology and pretend to be something else and too many people call it good and right and if you cannot celebrate this….you are labeled as evil.
